I had the problem, too. Thought I was going crazy! I'm not glad for whatever
the problem was, but I'm glad it wasn't just me.

Subject: E-mail problems?
Just wonderin' . . .
No e-mails from Techwr-l on Wednesday at all - None. Zilch. Nada.
I did get a few miscellaneous private e-mails from outside my company,
though.
This morning (Thursday), I got 35 e-mails from Techwr-l. The first one was
time-stamped about 9:30 p.m., Wednesday. That's right -- 9:30 PM.
The last couple are from today (around 6:30 a.m. or so).
So the questions are why the backup? Does Techwr-l go through an
intermediate server with skittish distribution problems?
I first checked with my own IT group and they showed me how there is no
blockage here, at least within my own company.
But they said a service up the line from us may have problems, or a major
cable could be out of service and traffic is rerouted.
The lack of any messages like this leads me to believe that I'm the only one
experiencing this problem.
Carolyn Upton, you're also here in metro Atlanta. Are you getting the
Techwr-l postings delayed or as they stream in normally?
