Subject:To Create a Central Configuration Guide or not? From:wawelsmok <wawelsmok -at- o2 -dot- pl> To:techwr-l -at- lists -dot- techwr-l -dot- com Date:Mon, 25 Sep 2006 15:50:34 +0200
Hi Everyone!
I have never encountered one but have had a few requests for a guide that describes the Central Configuration file (e.g. keys) for our application. A debate has ensued.
Has anyone encountered a doc like this before? How was it structured? The camp that is against the guide says it is not necessary because each key should be described in its correcsponding component's guide (e.g. keys that relate to printing should be mentioned in the Printing Tech Guide).
Looking forward to your replies,
Edi
