Forcing Acrobat to substitute a font of my choosing

Hello,
I use FrameMaker to produce .ps files which I then run through Acrobat Distiller 6.0 to produce the final .pdf file. At times I notice a message in Distiller that it cannot find one font and will substitute another (these are usually fonts in graphics that I receive from engineering).
My question: Is there a way to force Acrobat to substitute a font of my choosing when it encounters an unknown font? We use a corporate typeface and I would like to use the condensed version in the graphics.
Thanks for any help,
Rich
