Hello everyone,
After two great years, I'm writing to say goodbye as the administrator of
TECHWR-L. I am a technical writer in addition to my duties with TECHWR-L,
and my job recently took a dramatic turn. It changed for the better, but it
is going to take more of my time and considerably more of my mental capacity
for the foreseeable future. I've been learning how to do 3D CAD modeling and
am using those CAD drawings to produce interactive 3D documentation. It's
more fun than a person should be allowed to have at work! ;)
I have learned so much through this experience with TECHWR-L, and that
knowledge will help me as I continue my career. I was on the list for almost
four years before I became the administrator, and plan to continue to read
the list and post when I have something to offer (or a question to ask!).
I've enjoyed the offlist discussions I've had with many of you, and am glad
to have had the opportunity to meet so many of you in person at conferences.
I hope you will keep in touch!
I turned the reins back over to Eric in mid-August, and wish him the best.
To the rest of you, best of fortune in your careers and lives.
Warm regards,
Lisa B.
