Re: Release notes and readme files
According to most of the development people I've worked with, there is no such thing as a bug. It's just an undocumented feature.
What I hear from the developers when I report a bug is: "It works on my
machine!" Generally with a smile, but often with frustration.
We include bug fixes in the release notes when customers have reported them.
This can be a marketing tool: customers may pay for particular upgrades
according to the bugs that have been fixed.
