FrameMaker mis-using paragraph fonts

Hello all,

I think I've run into a glitch or a bug, but thought I 'd post here
and hope someone's figured out a workaround.

Frame has locked onto a particular paragraph style and won't let me
change it. I can try to apply a different paragraph style with
absolutely no effect. I have tried to delete the style and even modify
the problem style into the my basic text font with no luck.

Does this sound familiar to anyone?
