There's also the STC 54th Conference that will be in Minnesota this coming
May. The Web site of the organization is http://stc.org, the Web site of
their New York chapter is http://www.stcnymetro.org/, and the Web site of
their Chicago chapter is http://stc-chicago.org (I really liked saying that
last thing). I do not believe that it's up yet, their conference specific
Web site. 

By the way, I counted 7 (6 active) STC chapters on their Web page for New
York state chapters.
