Dear Donna,

I find that making nouns into verbs is funny, but I am not particularly
peeved. I wouldn't use it in technical documentation, though. I do not
stress too much about questionable grammar, as long as the material is
very clear and readable. Of course, I also find that the most clear and
readable material uses the best grammar. So, if I were correcting
someone, I would not say "that's bad grammar". Instead, I would point
out that "Tom designed that API" is more clear than "Tom architected
that design."

In short, I use good grammar as a subtle but strong rhetorical tool.
