Sheesh. To heck with MySpace and dating services ---- the real risk is to
find your name on a bit of tech writing that you'd rather not claim! I just
found a gov't posting of a report that I helped our engineers with early in
the project. Somehow, between when I last saw it and when it got submitted,
the formatting went wonkers. I'm listed in the report as senior tech writer,
but I would NEVER claim that piece as mine. I didn't read it, but I'm
guessing if the formatting is off, the writing is bad, too. Now THAT's
embarrassing.
BTW - the first several entries on my search for myself were techwr-l
postings, so definitely watch what you say here.
