TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
Here's a very brief and incomplete sample of what I'm thinking of--it
doesn't yet include much of my tech writing, but a few shorter articles that
I've written. What do folks think of the format? The end product in PDF
will have a TOC and divisions, along with being navigatable--it seems like
everyone wants samples emailed (and the PDF will not be printable, nor will
anyone be able to save a copy, and I won't include anything that is
confidential that I would hand carry to an interview).
