I wouldn't expect a writer to retain the actual technical knowledge
in any sample document going back past his or her most recent
position. I might ask the candidate to tell me how much knowledge
he or she had to acquire to produce the sample document, how long
it took to acquire it and what methods were used to acquire it, though.
