Hi James,
Yes, there *were* times when I went to a project manager and explained
why the documentation would not meet the deadline. We always ended up
choosing one of the three options I showed you, or some combination
thereof.
Sometimes the conversation took an hour, and sometimes we had to bring
in other people to figure out what the best option was. Your example
uses a total of 14 words, and I admit that we always needed more than
that.
