TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
Well, you asked what the relevance of the question was.
I don't think anyone said anything to suggest that you
ought to care. :)
It is not so much that recruiters who work on commision
"work harder" as it is that a recruiter who works on a
commision basis who discovers that there is none to be
had by submitting you to an employer will just not be
interested in submitting you at all. No recruiter works
"for the candidate," they are all working for themselves
and their client companies.
See "um...what?" above. What do I care if they receive a commission or
not?
Are you saying that recruiters who receive a commission work harder for
the
candidate?
