>From time to time, there occurs a sudden flurry of interest on this list in
issues like copyrights, patents, and trademarks. At some point, I got
interested enough in this topic to start studying it formally. I have been
posting the results of my studies on a blog, since the last two weeks. The
material concentrates on the state of IP in India, but if there is enough
interest, I will add notes on other countries as well. As of now, I have
finished writing about my studies on copyrights. I will now start on
patents, followed by trademarks, and then move on to minor rights. I will
then concentrate on the three great battlegrounds of IP today: Software,
Biotech/Pharma, and Movies/Music.
