If you happen to be in the Bangalore (India) area this coming week,
and particularly if you're attending the STC India conference (http://
stc-india.org/conferences/2006/home.htm), why not stop in at the
conference and say hello? It's always a pleasure to meet colleagues
while traveling in distant lands. I'll be giving at least 2
presentations (depending on how many speakers cancel), and expect to
be fairly busy the rest of the time, but there's always time to say
hello and sometimes even to stop for a cup of chai or coffee!
I'm leaving in a few minutes to embrace the joy <shudder> of 24 hours
of travel time, so please don't reply directly to me. No idea when
the next time is that I'll be able to check e-mail!
If I don't see you at the conference, "see" you again in the lists
after Christmas!
