If it's ok for you to dig into HTML, just use:^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
<a href="link.html" target="other_window"> when you first click it it will
launch a new window just like target="_blank", however upon subsequent
click, if you retain the target="other_window" value, the links will open in
that window.
You could also use javascript for even finer control over this...
