RE: Measurable objectives?

I suggest you think of a few things you *want* to be able to do, both to
make your own job easier and improve the effectiveness of the company.

Having done so, think of the difference that would be made if you did that.

There is your objective and the means by which it can be measured.

If you get your boss to sign up to those objectives, not only does it give
you the obligation to try to get them done during the year, but it also
gives him or her the obligation to provide you with the support necessary to
enable you to get it done, including helping carve time out of your schedule
for it.
