Agree....the company I described did have a process, which included development meetings, an excellent QA process and sign off sheets. The difficulty most previous TWs had was the speed in which engineering changes were implemented, which was why the user guides were marginally accurate for the newer product lines. Because of the regular meetings (department level and company wide) and the low turnover of employees, what looked like chaos to newcomers was actually a well-oiled machine.
