Personally, I think the word "offensive" is overused in our society.
Everyone has to be 'offended' when there are plenty of great words out there
that would better describe a person's feelings/reaction to something.
Look at this list of unwanted, orphaned words that never get used any more:
Chafed
Vexed
Nettled
Irked (personal favorite)
So the next time you think you've been offended, sit down, take a deep
