I have two books that I think are good.  They have helped me in my  Visio and 
other illustration efforts.
 
Both are probably out-of-print.
 
Second Edition, Technical Sketching, For Engineers, Technologists, and  
Technicians, Dale H. Besterfield and Robert E. O'Hagan - Prentice Hall,  Englewood 
Cliffs, NJ, 07632 published in 1990, ISBN 0-13-901935-9  (Paperback)
 
Studio Tips for Artists and Graphics Designers, Bill Gray,Von Nostrand  
Reinhold Company, published 1976, ISBN 0-442-22819-8 (Paperback)
 
For me, they were a great help.
 
I know there are others, and I will watch the other replies for  those.
