I see you quote those 50% and 20-40% stats on your Web site, too. What
do you say when a potential client asks, "Where do those figures come
from?"
As a technical writer, one of the ways that I add value to my company is
by researching the factual basis for the numbers that people throw
around. This helps us to improve both the quality of our product and our
compliance with the relevant standards (FDA, ISO, etc.). Precise
language is ultimately good for business.
