For my API document and developer guide I maintain a running list of
major changes, which is included in the document in summary form. I
also check a copy in every few days to our source control tool. If I
lose track of what changed when I get back a few old versions and run
Workshare's very nice Word comparison tool (either a component of
Workshare Professional or standalone as Deltaview).
No connection with Workshare other than as a very satisfied client.
