OK, I'm baffled here. Running OSs through VM is a known memory-hog.
Vista is a _self-declared_ memory-hog. Why not just go out and buy a PC
and a copy of Windows XP Professional?

I think the situation was being forced to upgrade at work.
But you would need a pretty beefy pc for that to be usable., I agree.
