At least, when you sit down for a few beers with
members of the Flat Earth Society or the Elvis
Spotting Society, you know that, underneath it all,
they're actually kidding. As for your situation,
you have my sympathy.
But here are two really scary thoughts to juxtapose
with your own anecdote:
Those people:
a) have the vote
b) drive cars.
Be afraid
Mumble mumble sterilization _before_ they breed mumble mumble
Um, the techwriter tie-in is... er... um... there are some
people who can't be reached by anything you/we have to offer,
and some people (considerable overlap) who just aren't worth
trying to reach. Try not to work for a company that has them
as the target audience. You will die of stress, alone and
friendless and over-medicated, your bills unpaid and your cat unfed.
