Something along those lines, yeah. Specifically, if I generate
a topic file that consists of a tagged heading and tagged text,
anyone who wants to use that topic should be able to link the
file into whatever they're working on, whether it's going to be
a SW popup, a callout, bulleted list item or paragraph in a
brochure, manual or web page, etc., and have their tools
assign whatever formatting they need without any changes
to the original topic file.
