Subject:Questions about using Wingdings and Webdings From:"Roger Bell" <RBell -at- vcgsoftware -dot- com> To:<techwr-l -at- lists -dot- techwr-l -dot- com> Date:Mon, 19 Mar 2007 17:51:27 -0400
Here are a couple of questions for those of you who are using Wingdings
or Webdings for your bullets or in other ways in your documents:
* Have you experienced any issues when you create a PDF?
* Do those fonts need to be embedded in the PDF?
* If you have foreign customers, especially in Asia, have any of
them reported issues of viewing Wingdings or Webdings in the PDF files
you distribute?
I think these fonts are now standard for Windows platforms in the US. I
thought there may be difference in Windows fonts in other nations.
Thanks in advance.
