In our case, the "Engineering Dept." is the Mechanical Engineers (MEs)
who design the physical aspects of the product, the Firmeware Engineers
(FEs) who create the software and firmware for the product, and the
Electrical Engineers (EEs) who handle the electrical design components
of the product. Our TechPubs is also embedded within the Engineering
Dept., and we work alongside the engineers during development.
And remember...you can't spell "GEEK" without a double-E (EE)!!!!
Sorry... that's an old joke from Michigan Tech (and other engineering
colleges, I'm sure.) :-)

I've read "engineering department" in many responses and was wondering
what it is.
I'd like to know what around here is considered the engineering
department.
Thanks,
Anthony
