Yes you are correct. Unless the client doesnt have a style guide and
you need something on the fly. I did a freelance job for a hospital
and had to browse industry journals to derive both usage and style.
The only problem is that some of the journal writing was poor. I would
like to be able to choose a style guide based on the industry but
there is no master list for freelance writers. Except for this thread.
