FOSS = free and open source software, apparently a
synonym to FLOSS or "free/libre/open source software."
Learn something new every day...

While OSS is inspiring, it's interesting to note that
some of the best software is NOT open source, but is
also not corporate. It's the work of dedicated
individuals or small groups. I find that even more
fascinating.
