I would not rely exclusively on either one. In fact,
in this day and age, relying on the protection in any
distributed product is probably a bad idea, as the
AACS people found out last week.
I prefer to distribute PDFs to customers for the
following reasons:
1. Uniform display on all platforms.
2. Difficult to edit.
3. Reader handles screen and print well.
4. Recognized format for documentation distribution.
