Good link; OWL is (or should be) really well known to
those of us who've worked in teaching English in some
form or another (first language, second or foreign
language). But obviously it's useful beyond that as
well.

For me, though, the *really* juicy problems in
language happen above the clause/sentence level, where
the "rules" are not nearly so well formed as they are
for language at the clause level and below. Just try,
for example, rigidly applying "given and new" in your
writing and see how far you get...
