Don't even use sticky stickers. It could turn out much worse. With
today's extremely-high-speed CD/DVD drives, it's not unheard of for a
disk with a slight flaw or microscopic crack to "explode." I'd be
worried about the unbalanced weight and extra thickness of a sticker
precipitating -- or at least increasing the likelihood of -- a
catastrophic failure.
