Hi:

You can do this, at least in Visio 2003.
Choose Web Site (whichever you want, US or metric)
In Web Site Map Settings,
- click the Extensions tab and clear all checkboxes except HTML (and doc,
pdf, if you need these)
- click the Protocols tab and clear all check boxes except File
- click the Attributes tab and clear all check boxes except HREF
- Click the Advanced tab and select:
- Analyze all files discovered if you want links that go outside of
the domain. If you only want the domain, choose Analys files within the
specified domain. For an intranet site, select Analyst files within
specified directory.

Additionally, I usually select Include links to files outside of search
criteria, Display duplicate links as expandable. I don't usually select
Discover links within VB and Javascript, but save that for last if needed.

If you must use a log in name, enter the Name and Password under HTTP
authentication.

I had to play around with the settings in that WebMap properties page, but
did finally get an upper level map.

The KEY: From that upper level map, you have to click each link image
(globe) to drill down into that part of the Web site and discover the
subdirectory files!

When you have clicked all of the subdirectories, you can run a report from
the WebSite Map menu (Reports) that will list all of the links. I ran the
report for Web Site Inventory, and set the output to Excel.

I now have a list of all the links in Excel.

Thanks for reminding me about this tool. Let me know if it works for you!

HTH,
PT
