I'm not sure where you're getting your definitions there Richard, but
it's not. It's carrying around a load of negativity that wears you
down over time. Common results of carrying too much manifest
themselves in physical ways, causing restlessness, depression, and
anxiety, among many other things. It's coined "gunny sacking" because
there's a belief that you can empty it and move on. Thus my reference
to the samadhi tank.
