TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
you may want to post this in the FrameUsers forum. You may get some more
answers there.
Meanwhile, I think you have this problem because the font of the callouts in
the original PDF is not embedded. I don't think it has anything to do with
the number of files you have open. You can simply test this by opening 1
Frame file and saving this file as PDF.
If you want me to take a look at it, just send me one of those PDF files
with callouts.
