I've compiled the past three months of discourse on the direction that
technical writing/technical communications is taking, and shaped it
into an article that technical writers might enjoy.
I've posted a teaser on techwr-l because the blog software doesn't like
the full length version, and linked to the post on User Advocacy blog
from there.
"Technical Writing in Transition" wasn't written by a single person,
only compiled, because many of the comments by those participating in
these threads have been meshed into the text. What started as a simple
suggestion became a longer article, but I hope you enjoy it, because
you and I wrote it together.
