At my last job we had a page on the support Web site that included the
doc set for each release of the product. Putting it on the Support
site meant that our customers could log in and access the docs, but
our competition could not.
We had some kind of product release every quarter (new release or
updates/patches to the last release). If there were doc updates that
we wanted to get out before the next "official" release we would
update the docs on the Web site.
