Is there a way... to also keep track of the work the freelancer is doing for
me using one of this application? I mean, it is not that I don't trust him
or that I mind that he is not working 100% of the time or that I want to
breathe down his neck, it is just that it is really hard to evaluate what he
is doing and whether he is truly working on our documentation. He takes
about 5 to 10 times longer than I have in the past to update a same
document. So, how can I figure out what is wrong there and fix it if I know
exactly the changes that are involved.
Not only would I like to improve my efficiency and keep track of it, I would
like to see what is making deliveries so difficult for him too (I just feel
that I am giving him the easy part and taking on all the load and he can't
even meet the deadlines for the easy part. Note that he is very experienced
and I do personally like him, I just get very frustrated that it does not
matter how small the project, if he is given a life time, this is how much
it will take him). So, I am trying to see how to fix all of this and see how
much time I am investing in helping him and doing things for him and how
much time I am investing on the projects for which I have deadlines.
A tool would be helpful, I think and I don't need to track expenses here.
