TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.

Not necessarily, Hawaii hasn't celebrated yet and there are still other time
zones available, I think 16 altogether depending on which regions practice
or don't practice daylight saving time. So, there are a few more
opportunities to jump up in honor of Pi Day. Or you can get a couple of
pies and have a slice for Pi minute in each of the remaining time zones.
Speaking of nonsense holidays, is there a day to celebrate technical
communication? I think we should adopt the TechWr-L anniversary as national
(or international) Technical Communicators Day. Hallmark can design cards,
employers can buy writers lunches, and co-workers can finally start showing
respect... one day a year.
