I think that if there really were any "industry standard" there wouldn't
be so many options, alternatives, and variations in tools... and that'd
be a shame.
The real question should be, "what's standard in your industry?"
We all work in very different industries. For example, I'm in Television
Broadcast Automation. We probably don't used the same tools as, say, the
Aerospace industry.
