I am using Word 2007 on XP. The document I am working on is a .docx file. I
have a few pictures, and had to delete some and shuffle them around. Now my
first picture is labeled "Figure 2" no matter what I do. Select All > F9
doesn't update it. Clicking Update Field doesn't update it. If I go to
Insert > Cross-Ref, I see an empty "Figure 1" at the end of my figures list.
I tried inserting a cross-ref to this mystery figure, then clicked the link
- Word attempted to open the same document that I am working on from our
SharePoint site.
Where the heck is this deleted Figure 1 and why can't I erase it?
Any ideas?
Joel
