TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
I can't remember the last time I've seen this kind of hostility on
this list towards a poster who's asking for help!
I'm also surprised that nobody suggested that if the powers that be
are so committed to creating and maintaining such an unhealthy
workplace, changing workflow processes may not improve the work
environment, and, instead of just rearranging its chairs on the same
deck, a personal solution might be to change ships.
Just my 4 cents (equal to former 2 cents).
Regards,
Peter
