Well, there isn't *the* STC email list.. You can get email from "head
office". You can subscribe to email lists connected with communities
you belong to. And you can register to participate in the STC Forum
(not email, but rather a Web forum). You have to be a member to get
access to those.
The communities (geographic, virtual) you sign up for may be worth the
price alone. Also, there may be local training providers that offer
discounts to STC members (I know of one in Toronto, for example).
