How weird

Our GUI uses "login" so I've got to follow that.

"Log on" smacks of connecting to a network. Our software can be
standalone or set up as a service for Web clients.

Ahh well. We could argue that for days.

Anyway - Thanks everyone for your help.

If it is 6/2004 I guess that's not too old. But I think it's about time
for a new edition.

Anyway I have proceeded to telling my boss to ordering a few of these.

Thanks again everybody!

Barbara

"Microsoft's decided that in the Windows world you log _on_ rather
than in, so the terms you'll find in MSMoS are "logon" and "log on". "
