I would never say that Nancy was not a technical writer. Procedures are
technical writing.
I looked back through the thread and Nancy mentioned that she was
documenting banking regulations. If the focus of that documentation is
functional or technical, then it is likely technical writing. If the focus
is more business-oriented and related to marketing or a detailed analysis,
then it could be business writing. Personally, I don't think that Nancy
provided enough information for anyone to determine whether her work is
business writing or technical writing.
I'm pretty sure that Nancy hasn't been driven off of the list given that she
posted three times today about a footnote issue that she resolved on her
own.
