RICK!!!!

It's Yahoo.  It sends email out in HTML, like as a page within the message
nested in one tag.  When the listserv strips the HTML, it strips the tag
that contains your message.  CC'd people will still get your message, since
they can receive HTML.  Yahoo apparently doesn't let you set your send
defaults to text only.  Try gmail, from Google.

Maybe there should be a note about the chronic Yahoo issue on the TechWr-L
sign-up page or somewhere, since this issue has occurred on other occasions.
Although the issue is apparently intermittent, it does get annoying when it
happens.
