Hi,
IT guys often are unfamiliar with Acrobat. But, without knowing what
steps you are taking, it's difficult to say how to proceed. Make sure
you are embedding and subsetting your fonts, make sure your fonts are
embeddable, check that Distiller is set to fail if fonts are missing
(otherwise, you won't send the font in the PDF), and make sure all your
applications have the latest patch or revision.
Cheers.

Sean,
I think I'll need to contact my IT person to sort this one out!
Until yesterday, I had no problems generating PDFs. However, another
person has been conducting various tests on my computer & changing PDF
configurations. (The PDF Writer seems to have appeared at that point...)
Now, I'm encountering a whole series of error messages and cannot
generate PDFs.
In other words, it seems too complex for me even to begin explaining!
(And my knowledge of PDF is quite limited...)
However, thanks for your willingness to help!
Keith
