In most industries, "documentation anything" is most
commonly another name for someone who works in
document or configuration control. Next in frequency
come the rapidly-vanishing production specialists
that Fred describes.
Technical writers still living in the dot-com era who
insist on continuing to invent new-age job titles for
themselves really need to do some research and
not glom onto job names that are already being
used, and especially names that are already being
frequently confused between two other jobs.
