professional exemption."
The "professional exemption" is the clause that states which employees
cannot receive overtime compensation.
The purpose of this law is to extend the professional exemption to IT
employees who are "paid on an hourly basis."
This extension does not apply to technical writers because they are excepted
in "paragraph 5."
