Here's the good news. Author-it doesn't care what the style
definitions are or what they're called, just that they've been used.
When it comes time to import the content, all styles used in the doc
will be listed, and then you map them to the AIT styles in the
library.
Here's some more good news. AIT comes with a bunch of styles that are
already mapped to the output Word template. And while you might want
to create some new styles, you shouldn't need that many.
Here's even better good news. You can give Template Dude user rights
only to the library so that he can't create new styles. Note: Make
sure that permissions are set correctly so that he can't actually
create styles or modify the Word mapping properties.
Here's the bad news. While AIT includes a default Word template for
publishing, it will probably need to be customized. Personally, I'd
suggest not letting Template Dude anywhere near it.
